It is the age of the selfie... The age of thousands of photos racked up in our phones.... A time for clouds and drives full of tens of thousands of images collected, screen shot and shared daily. Why do portraits still matter? Why is it still something that despite all of this, people still seek year after year? The answer is two parts: art and intent.


Part I. capture high quality images, using light and composition masterfully to make images that still make you feel something decades from now.

Portraits

The individual portrait is a powerful thing. We LOVE to take portraits for all reasons. Want to try your hand at glamour or modeling? Just aiming for really incredible headshots or business portraits...or maybe you need social media or dating profile photos that are inspired! We know how awkward it feels to be photographed and how uncomfortable most people are. 99% of clients state this before we even meet! Our job is to get to know you & laugh with you until the vibe is calm and the pictures are amazing.

Maternity & Newborn

 

 

Maternity is an amazing time.  Also stressful... sometimes scary and always joyful.  Newborn photography is an adorable chance to collect memories during the first few weeks (or after) of your baby's life.  We believe that the focus of newborn photography should be natural, peaceful and organic, with you holding and loving your baby and of course some of your nugget wrapped up like a burrito! Both Maternity and Newborn sessions can be at a location of your choice, including your home!

Family

 

 

All pieces and stages of family life are worth photographing.  We would love to plan a family portrait session with you and yours.  We can plan a fun beach shoot with your kids, go hiking with you and your teens or treat your parents and grandparents to celebratory sessions for anniversaries and birthdays!  We also 100% welcome dogs, cats, alpacas, goldfish and whomever else makes up your family!
